Josh Sauter acted as our staff contractor and project manager in 2001/2002 during a year and a half renovation of a 10,00 square foot office building in Lafayette, California. His tasks were overseeing all aspects of the restoration and remodel job including running our staff construction crews and coordinating the subcontractors involved in the project. He drafted specs and sourced, interviewed and hired most of our subs. Josh also devised and drafted creative solutions to the various issues that arose during the job and he coordinated these changes with our architect and engineer and acquired the necessary approvals from the building department. Given that I grew up in construction and I now run a property management and developement company, I know when someone knows their job and Josh is among the best I've seen. Even after Josh left our employ, he always made himself available to assist with problems and offer advice. I can confidently recommend Josh Sauter as a competent and dependable project supervisor who is also enjoyable to work with.
